When is Marty Brodeur (or his coaches, for that matter) going to realize that it probably isn’t a smart idea to play 1,382 to the fifth power games during the regular season? I get that he’s good. I mean, the guy is arguably the best goalie ever to play the game, and his ability to play 70+ games in a season has saved the Devils tons of money on a passable back up. The problem?
