Man, what an entertaining week! Almost everything you look for in a football season you got in the first week. Close games, botched calls, random acts of awesome, stupid new rules, and high drama. 10 things I learned this week:
1. For every Drew Brees, there is a Jake Delhomme.
2. Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg are great for a radio show. Biggest reason: they are terrible at calling games.
3. Adrian Peterson is the best RB in the NFL, and it's not even close.
4. The Oakland Raiders can find talent in the draft, so long as they never pick before the 4th round.
5. The new roughing the passer rules are one step short of giving QBs a "no-hit" practice jersey and a skirt for a uniform.
6. It takes 12 Rams to score a point.
7. Darrelle Revis is a top-5 CB in the NFL.
