For all the hype that the Patriots vs Saints game brought with it, it certainly didn't live up to all that hype unless you are a Saints fan. The Patriots got absolutely throttled 38-17 in a game that was pretty much over by the end of the third quarter. The Pats got beat in every facet of the game, and if it wasn't for the offense showing up in the first half and the Saints stepping off the gas pedal in the fourth quarter, this game good have been much uglier. While this was a tough game for the Patriots, they were able to take a lot away from this game that will help them as they get ready for next weeks game against Miami and the rest of the season. 1.
