I don't intend for this to be a long article because I really want to get peoples' opinions on a subject that has been debated a lot during the NFL season so far. The subject being trash talkingùwhat it does for the game, how it effects the game, and how much significance it has.
We can look at the taunting on the field as a type of trash talk, the type that draws the yellow flag from the official's pocket. But what do we gain from all the talk?
As a Jets fan, I know my team has done a lot of talking this yearùall of it I believe to be innocent jabbing between rival factions.
