Sure, Gregg Williams is internationally known and locally reviled as a loud mouth jerk, but what would the fortunes of the Washington Redskins have been under his tenure as head coach, instead of the 3-8 debacle preparing to face his defense this Sunday? Maybe Vinny Cerrato wouldÆve drafted differently. Perhaps the team still secures Brian Orakpo as its first overall pick, but maybe there is a premium placed on offensive and defensive lineman in last yearÆs draft. A man with Joe Gibbs' heart, Williams was the epitome of three yards and a cloud of dust; the philosophy by which Gibbs built the current team and why it's now snakebitten.
