Rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez will do his best impression of Jet icon Joe "Willie" Namath come Sunday at the Meadowlands as he seeks to lead his team to a playoff berth for the first time in three years. With two braces and the elements to deal with plus the pesky Atlanta Falcons, Mark Sanchez was given the start in wake of the IndianapolisáColts becoming the third team in NFL history to go 14-0 while all but knocking the Jacksonville Jaguars out of playoff contention as they dropped back to .500 at 7-7.
