He drops back, he looks, he's got no one. He scrambles to the outside, finding a hole.
But instead of keeping it, he forces a throwùpicked off. The Saints get the interception and eventually the game from the Vikings. Favre's season is over, and possibly his career (again).
A few weeks later, Favre holds a press conference discussing his future in the league.
"I'm done," he says, sobbing. "It's all over. It was a great ride. But it's come to an end."
The video is everywhere. ESPN can't get enough of it. It's the beginning of a long, sometimes painful journey through another off-season for us.
