Can you imagine last yearÆs defense with this yearÆs offense? áWell that very well could be the case with the 2009 Pittsburgh Steelers.á With the return of Troy Polamalu the Steelers have a dominating defense once again. Troy Polamalu seems to be the glue that holds the unit together.á Even in the plays that he isnÆt involved in, and there arenÆt many, he seems to add an extra intensity and swagger to the defense that doesnÆt exist when heÆs not there.á The man simply makes plays.á It took him a game and half and he already has half of the teamÆs total interceptions (Ryan Clark has the other half).á Quarterbacks fear this man.á Quarterbacks have to know exactly where he is at all times and throw it where he isnÆt.á If people wondered why the defense hadnÆt resembled itself ...
