And they did it thanks to Indianapolis Colts head coach Jim Caldwell doing an unexpected about face. The Colts proceeded to lay down their arms against the New York Jets yesterday and got smothered 29-15. "I knew we were starting a rookie that had no business trying to maintain the streak," said Caldwell. "But let me tell you something. I was bribed by Bob [Griese] not to keep the streak going so that I could be spared a defeat by our opponent in the Super Bowl if we win the AFC title.
