The Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement is coming up this weekend with five new inductees, Michael Jordan, David Robinson, John Stockton, Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan and Rutgers women’s basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer This got me into thinking who from the Suns is in the Hall of Fame. The list is surprisingly very short considering how successful, at least record wise, that the Suns are: Jerry Colangelo, Charles Barkley and Connie Hawkins. Colangelo is obviously the most important figure in Phoenix sports history, helping bring Phoenix professional basketball, baseball and hockey. Barkley and Hawkins might have been more successful and gained notoriety with other teams but their impact on the Suns is not forgotten on loyal fans.
