The Thanksgiving season is a time to show appreciation for all the things that give us a measure comfort throughout the year. I have a long list of things to be thankful for, my family, my health, and my ability to avoid complete sanity, just to name a few. NBA basketball is another thing I am grateful for because it affords me the opportunity to escape the tedious confines of everyday life, if just for a few hours. I could become immersed when discussing all of the things about the game that make me happy, so I have tried to compile a list that just name a few.
