In 2007, Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant decided to request a trade because he felt that management wasn't making the right moves to build a championship team. The Chicago Bulls were rumored to have the best shot at acquiring him since they possessed an abundance of young talent. The Bulls were said to have offered anyone on their roster except for Luol Deng, who for some reason was considered untouchable. Anyway, Bryant initially wanted to play in Chicago, but changed his mind after seeing how much the Bulls would be giving up in the deal. He believed there wouldn't be enough talent left to win a championship.
