We all have things to be thankful for. I'm adding the "Portland Trail Blazers early season schedule" to the list. There are different ways to view Portland's cup-cake sampling and the one you have might come down to your perspective on life.
Are you an optimist? If so, be very content that the Blazers are defeating the teams that they are "supposed to beat". After all, a team can only play the schedule it is given. Plus, the awfulness of the overall competition is a little skewed thanks to Portland playing the 1-14 Timberwolves three times.
Considering some bad luck with injuries (whether the injuries were actually bad for the team is a different discussion entirely, I'm going with the "injury bad" ...
