The Boston Globe reported that the Boston Celtics waived backup point guard Lester Hudson. Hudson was just getting into his groove while Rajon Rondo was out with a left knee injury. It was strange timing for the Celtics to make a move like this, right when many of the ball handlers are injured. Could the Celtics be opening a roster spot for the recently waived Rafer Alston? Getting Rafer Alston would be the only logical reason for the Celtics to waive Lester Hudson.
