It's hard to think of anything positive relating to the New York Mets these days, but there is one positive to come out of this dismal 2009 baseball season. It's the 40th anniversary of maybe the greatest baseball underdog story ever. That's right, it's been 40 years since the 1969 Mets went from being lovable losers who helped ease the pain of the Dodgers and Giants leaving for the west coast, to kings of the baseball world.
