Does Sebean smell blood in the water?á Does Giants ownership fear fan backlash? Or both? Reports are that the San Francisco Giants have just agreed to terms with Mark DeRosa for two years/$12 million. Other reports suggest the Giants are very close to terms with re-signing Juan Uribe as well. DeRosa is a nice solid move. Uribe would be good, as well. But the Giants are stirring the pots for more...on Florida Marlins' Dan Uggla still and even free agent Jason Bay. If Uggla is signed to play 2B, then Sanchez would move from 2B to 3B, DeRosa would play LF or maybe even RF. Uribe would be mostly SS or at least should be. If not, then 3B belongs to DeRosa, SS Renteria/Uribe, 2B Sanchez, and 1B of course is Sandoval. If Jason Bay is signed, then he would likely play LF for the Giants. To ...
