Even though it seems as if Mickolio has been teetering on the verge of the Majors for the past two years (and he has), the truth about the 6'9'' behemoth is that his potential is as vast as the state of Montana (his home state). Mickolio is relatively new to this whole baseball thing, only taking up the sport five years ago. He's made quite a splash since ditching a basketball, and that all culminated when the big right-hander was drafted in the 18th round by the Seattle Mariners in the 2006 draft. In the four years since becoming a part of the Mariners fold, Mickolio has skyrocketed through the system, ascending all the way to Triple A Tacoma in just his second full season as a pro.
