I know what you're going to say: "How can you possibly still believe in this organization?" The signs are everywhere—literally—that the long-suffering Pirates fans have had enough of losing. In fact, I saw one the other day outside a little tavern in the suburbs south of the city. "G-20 Souvenir: Buy the Pirates, Take Them With You!" If that doesn't say it, I don't know what does. But I still believe—and my feeling is that I'm not completely alone just yet. There is hope for the Pirates, even if that hope may mostly reside in the minor leagues right now.
