General Manager, Frank Wren has done a lot in his relatively short stint in the Braves front office. In the past, he's gotten the short-end of the stick while taking some big swings and missing on Peavy, Furcal, Burnett, and Griffey. He's also made some tough decisions involving Glavine and Smoltz. Yet, the Braves found themselves in playoff contention in the last week of the season. Wren should have gotten a lot more credit around the league with the work that he did last offseason and throughout the season.

This year, the building blocks are in place. And while Wren's task isn't as difficult as last offseason, there is still plenty of work to do. Signing Billy Wagner was a great start. But I think the decision was made so fast to bring him in, because Wren's offseason focus will ...
