White Men Can Jump! The 45 Greatest White Guys To Play In the NBA
Posted: 12th June 2010 by Isaiah Montoya in NBA
I recently read an article on Bleacher Report about Brent Barry called "White Men Can Jump." I wondered why the reporter wrote a story about such a player when Barry's own dad Rick Barry was one of the greatest players of all-time.
So I compiled a list of the 45 greatest White guys in NBA History (including Hispanics Gasol and Ginobili), and answered if they could jump or not (1-10 ...
NBA Finals Game 4: Bench Carries Celtics to 96-89 Victory
Posted: 11th June 2010 by FootBasket in NBA
The Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers 96-89 last night.
Most of the work in the fourth quarter was done by Glen "Big Baby" Davis and Nate Robinson. They dominated the Lakers when both of them came in.
Davis had 18 points and Robinson added 12 points in the Celtics' 36-point fourth quarter.
Like I said before, Glen Davis should be in the starting lineup over Kendrick Perkins.
Glen Davis gives a huge ...

Draft busts. Every team has had them. Every. All of the 30 NBA Franchises have had at least one bust they drafted sometime in their history.
That includes you, too, Oklahoma City Thunder. We aren’t ruling out those Seattle SuperSonics.
But what I am trying to do with this blog post here is to start a series. Yes, I am still continuing ...
The Warriors ownership is in flux and so trades become less likely. Although, perhaps more possible with discussions of Anthony Randolph being traded.
So, because the Warriors front office is considering bad trades. I thought I would put out a few that might help the warriors.
I think they are all possible, but it is always great to get feedback.
Not all trades will necessarily improve the team, but they ...
Both the Celtics and Lakers don’t realize that there is a third opponent in this series, the refs.
There is just something about game three of this NBA series that is just too hard to forget. The fact that, when allowed to use instant replay, they were able to overturn three calls because they couldn’t tell with player, the ball hit off of before going out of bounds.
It’s no ...
2010 NBA Finals Game Four Handicap: Boston Celtics in a Must Win Situation
Posted: 10th June 2010 by Matt Regaw in NBA
Game Three was a mess for the Boston Celtics and in the end the Lakers wanted the game more. With seconds to go Ray Allen hoisted up another miss on the night and when Derrick Fisher grabbed the ball and went coast to coast the game was over.
The Celtics starred at him flat footed most of the way only reacting in time to foul Fisher and watch him seal up ...
Truth Be Told, the Celtics Need Paul Pierce to Step Up
Posted: 10th June 2010 by Brandon Ribak in NBA
With the Celtics season on the line, it's not Rajon Rondo (for a change) who must come up big for Boston tonight in Game Four.
It's not Ray Allen, who uplifted the C's to their only win in the series thus far with his astounding 32 point performance and record breaking eight three-pointers made.
And it's not Kevin Garnett, who finally showed flashes of the old KG during Game Three.
The man of the hour, starting at ...
2010 NBA Finals, Game 4: Pau Gasol, Derek Fisher Key To Crown for the Lakers

Game Three was huge. Game Three was a game the Los Angeles Lakers needed to win and they did just that, no thanks to Kobe Bryant.
The NBA Finals always has those players that show up when they're needed the most. They provide that spark for their team or they take it upon themselves to make sure their team goes on to victory.
Saying that, you would think I'm talking about a ...
Pictured: emotional rescuer
The Celtics came out with primal screams and a sweaty coach.
Europe’s amazingly shitty song, The Final Countdown, blared in TD Banknorth and the crowd was brimming with hatred for all things Los Angeles. When House Of Pain’s seminal classic, Jump Around, came on, it felt like the roof was gonna blow off the joint. Then the game started. ...
"Fame," O.J. [Simpson. Yes, that one.] said, walking along, "is a vapor, popularity is an accident, and money takes wings. The only thing that endures is character.""Where'd you get that from?" [A.C. "You Know Who He Is, Dammit"] Cowlings asked."Heard it one night on TV in Buffalo," O.J. said. "I was watching a late hockey game on Canadian TV and all of a sudden a guy ...
