With the cuts of Cody Almond, Robbie Earl, Danny Irmen, Matt Kassian, and Marco Scandella this morning, the Wild roster is down to 27 players; just four more cuts away from having their regular season roster set. Wild Signs Veteran Winger Petr Sykora

As reported Monday at The Wild State of Hockey, the Wild placed two-time Stanley Cup Champion winger Petr Sykora on a pro tryout. Wasting little to no time, GM Chuck Fletcher signed Sykora to a one-year deal worth $1.6 million Thursday morning. Pending the results of a physical, veteran winger Petr Sykora will be placed on a pro tryout with the Minnesota Wild.
