Tampa Bay Rays Trade RP Jesse Chavez To Atlanta for RP Rafael Soriano

ESPN and MLB are reporting that Thursday morning the Tampa Bay Rays will send recently acquired RP Jesse Chavez to the Atlanta Braves for closer RP Rafael Soriano in a Winter Meetings deal, pending physicals. According to an AP report, the Tampa Bay Rays have re-signed one half of their Double-Gabe right field platoon, welcoming back Gabe Kapler. The team announced a one-year deal worth $1.05 million earlier today.
