Dirk Nowitzki’s Back With the Mavs: Where Does Dallas Go From Here?

Everyone in Dallas was on the edge of their seat. The greatest Maverick in franchise history was on the free market, possibly courting offers. A few insiders knew he'd be back, and they were right. Dirk Nowitzki agreed to come back for a four year, $80 million contract with Dallas.
The move left some people confused, though. He could have gotten $96.2 million. Why did he take less money?
The answer is the team. Dirk loves the Mavericks. ...
What is the most valuable commodity on this Earth? Gold? Oil? No, it's one man.
LeBron James.
Teams will battle for him, but there will be one team to rule them all(yeah, that's right, an LOTR reference).
The Nets, Knicks, Heat, Cavs, and Bulls are all polishing their armor and sharpening their swords. The Mavericks have the best arsenal however.

Friday The 27th. The Day The NBA Made Me Say “What The Crap?!”

For me, November 27th, 2009 was not Black Friday. It was a Friday of revelation. As I reviewed the NBA scores for the night, I made a few astute observations.
Observation 1: The Knicks should not be 3-13. Here are a couple of teams that the Knicks could have, no, should have beaten.
The Celtics.
The Bobcats.
The 76ers.
The Jazz.
The Nuggets
