It's October, and the smothering months of Summer are finally over.
There's something about Fall that puts me at ease. A certain humbleness that the other seasons lack. Winter flaunts Christmas, Summer boasts the beach and pools, and Spring won't shut up about rejuvenation and new beginnings.

For those how have been watching the Canadiens' preseason games, I have one question to ask: Who HASN'T fallen in love with Brian Gionta? In each game he's played, he has been hands down our best forward. Gionta has been all over the ice, so much so that at times it seem like there's two of him.

Tonight's game against Pittsburgh will end a five-game stretch in as many nights for the Montreal Canadiens.
Going 2-2 in that first four has given fans a good look at a number of prospects and line combinations.
The Habs have, at times, looked brilliant, and, at others, looked lost. That's what the preseason is about.
