Connecticut Defenders Officially Relocate To Virginia

It was announced today that the Connecticut Defenders of the Eastern League are moving to Richmond Virginia.
The City of Connecticut and representatives of the Eastern League made the announcement jointly, Wednesday morning.

Reports coming out of New York say that Commissioner Selig and the MLB do not plan to issue any disciplinary action unto New York Yankees starting third baseman Alex Rodriguez.
The decision was made once the investigation was complete, this coming from “sources” in baseball with intimate knowledge of the situation.

Rogers Sportsnet has come to a three-year agreement with the National Football League, becoming the exclusive Canadian broadcaster of the NFL Network's eight-game schedule this fall.
