In a game Joe Torre seemed to have given up on sometime during breakfast on Thursday, the Kid did what he does and then some. Throwing 6 shutout innings on Saturday, Lincecum also went 3 for 4 at the plate with 3 RBIs, defeating the Dodgers single-handedly. Give Velez A Chance

What's not to like about Eugenio Velez? He's got speed, power and likely, ADD. His attention span can be short on the field but his athletic abilities are superior to those of his teammates - Bowker, Torres, Schierholtz - who would also like to have more playing time.
