The Good: It only counts as one game in the standings.

The Bad: No comeback this time. After giving up three runs in the third, it appeared that the Tigers were going to get right back in the game when they scored two in the fourth. But the comeback bid was stamped out by the M's answer of two runs in the bottom of the fourth and six runs in the fifth.

Swings and misses: King Felix struck out nine Tigers in his 6.2 innings of work—all swinging. He's one of the best in baseball, and he made several Detroit hitters look foolish.

The Ugly: Jeremy Bonderman—It looked for a while that Jeremy was going to have another strong outing, retiring four of the first nine hitters on strikes, but the wheels came off soon after. Bondo w ...
