It's a little late considering March is nearing its end, but here are all pro football transactions involving former Miami Dolphins players for the month of February.
Feb. 1
The Alabama Vipers (AFL) signed defensive lineman Steve Fifita to a contract. Fifita spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons with the Dolphins, appearing in 13 games (one start) for the team in 2007 and recording 11 tackles.

Dallas Cowboys Draft Pick March Madness: Elite Eight
Posted: 22nd March 2010 by Jonathan Bales in NFL
In the Sweet 16 of our Cowboys draft pick tournament, the field of was narrowed to just eight potential selections. A few of the surprises from our first round were:
No. 13 seed USF safety Nate Allen upsetting No. 4 seed Rutgers offensive tackle Anthony Davis. Allen has been soaring up boards and is now a realistic possibility for Dallas at the 27th pick.
No. 11 seed Boise ...
On Monday, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville named rookie Antti Niemi the starter for Tuesday night's game against the Phoenix Coyotes.
It will be Niemi's fourth start in five games for the Hawks; the Hawks have only won once in the previous three starts.
Does this mean Quenneville has officially moved Niemi to the top of the depth chart?
Cristobal Huet had been out with the flu but has returned to skating with the ...
2010 NFL Draft: Should The Oakland Raiders Trade Nnamdi Asomugha?
Posted: 22nd March 2010 by David Xaviel is the Real Mr. X in NFL
I decided to begrudgingly write this article, because the topic won't go away. That topic of course is whether the Oakland Raiders should trade cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.
Asomugha is easilya top-three cornerback in the NFL, along with Charles Woodson and Darrelle Revis. Personally, I would give Nnamdi a slight edge, because Woodson and Revis are part of better overall defenses.
I would only trade Asomugha on one condition—if the Raiders can move ...

The 2010 NFL Draft has its fair share of prospects who, for one reason or another, have seen their mock draft projections fluctuate considerably.
Maybe it's a lack of prototypical size or the fact they're coming from a non-traditional powerhouse conference.

Here are 20 players, with predictions about where they deserve to be selected as well as a brief analysis ...
2010 NFL Mock Draft, Version 2.0: Jimmy Clausen to St. Louis?
Posted: 22nd March 2010 by Adam Radochonski in NFL
Here is my second version of the 2010 NFL Draft. A lot has changed over the past few weeks, so it has taken me a while to organize a new mock.
1. St. Louis—Jimmy Clausen, QB
If I'm St. Louis, I know I'm not going to succeed for a few years. They have young receivers and have yet to break in last year's second overall pick, Jason Smith. Clausen had to deal ...

Wide Receiver
Starters: Braylon Edwards and Jerricho Cotchery
Backups: David Clowney, Brad Smith, Danny Woodhead, Aundrae Allison
Key Losses: Chansi Stuckey
Analysis
The New York Jets have lacked a big, physical WR that demands a double team from defenses since they parted ways with Keyshawn Johnson. The Jets feel like Braylon Edwards can be that guy.
Edwards came to the Jets via a trade with the Cleveland Browns ...
2010 NFL Draft: Who Are This Year’s Potential Draft Busts?
Posted: 22nd March 2010 by Daniel Wolf in NFL
The label "bust" has been in sports for a long time and it pretty much says that a player fell way short of his potential at the professional level.
Before you think that Tim Tebow is on this list, I'm sad to say that he didn't make it on because even if he is a "bust" at quarterback, he will be used at another position or to run gimmick plays for ...
If you are looking for a top heavy division in sports, this is it. The NL Central is the exact opposite of its counterpart in the American League. This year, you have got two great teams in the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs, while you have four clubs that will be irrelevant by early May.
St. Louis Cardinals:
Last year, we spent a lot of time discussing whether or not ...
